[Comp] Protect the Katy Perry

So Protect the Kog Maw is a nice comp.
Protect the Kate could be better!
Katy Perry can already protect and heal herself, so its even harder for the enemies to kill her. If they switch focus --> np, kayle uses ult on an ally.
Katy`s music is really nice especially if she gets some attack speed (perhaps from nunu buff?).

Good protectors are:
Yorick (ult)
Anivia (wall, stun, slow)
Zilean (ult)
Morgana (shield)
Janna (ult)
Tresh (lantern)
Soraka (healz)
Lulu (ult, shield)
Shen (ult)
Nami (ult, heal)
Karma (shield, heal)
Maokai (ult)
???

Also Nunu should be included for late game AS and MS (Music Speed) buff (up to 10000 bpm)

Items: Mikaels Crucible should be bought from support. Shard of true Ice is another option.
Guardian Angel for Kayle is a must have. I mean she`s an angel and... we protect her so we are the guardians you know?

Strategy: Simply get Katy some listeners early game and win teamfights later on by protecting Kayle as long as possible (except somebody else is focus but then they will loose anyway).


Any ideas about other viable protectors? I feel like i`ve forgot something...

You might forget about Shen's ult and Karma's heal and shield And Janna has shield also not only her ult.

If you want to count champions like Anivia only for her CC, you should add also:
-Blitz
-Leona
-Nautilus
-Nami
-Skarner
-Rammus
-and much much more :>

If you want AS think about Nida too!

the reason why you would want to play an protect the adc comp is cause the adc is a unstoppable beast late game
aka Kog and Vayne (trist) in my opinion

(i know every 6 item adc is beast but kog and vayne just scale better into late game)

I not only counter her cc but also her wall, for protecting kayle (or kog maw) from melee champions.
I forgot Shen and Karma right! Why I always forget her? =D

And you are right loojam kog maw is stonger late game , i only had in mind that kayle can already protect herself.
But if Kayle goes mid, yorick top and shen jungle (with nunu kog maw/vayne bot) it would already be a very stronk comp.
Vayne is even more protectable than kog maw due to her invisibility, her escape tool and her knock back/stun.

ok maybe add morganas spell shield.
I think its strong .
It's like a weak olaf ultimate u can cast on an ally.

Nidalee's heal and AS buff.
Lulu's ult, shield, MS buff and extra damage from Pix.
Nami's ult, stun, heal, and the damage on her E.

I know that but i didnt forgot morgana, I mentioned her shield from the very beginning.
Morgana mid would be another nice option for mid position because tons of CC would be added to the team.

Top: Yorick
Mid: Morgana
Jungle: Shen/Kayle
Bot: Nunu + Vayne/Katy Perry/Kog Maw

Lulu is a nice pick! Just her ult is amazing for protecting!

I think Nidalee cant do anything if Vayne/Katy/Kog get stunnend in a teamfight.
I mean Soraka also cant do much more than her burst heal and ult but thats a huge heal and armor buff.
